ABOUT

Ruby is an award-winning, neurodivergent writer and performer. She is a StorySLAM winner for The Moth podcast, an award winning short story author, a published poet, an award winning advertising copywriter, Google RARE alum, one of Campaign's 2021 Future Leaders and one of the Top 50 Influential Neurodivergent Women 2023.

She has worked as a creative director and senior copywriter at some of the top agencies in London and is currently at Droga5 London. She is also the co-founder and host of Sledgehammer, a music video night based in London and Amsterdam, the host of Burst, a podcast she created with "influential feminist" Laura Jordan Bambach (due out next year) and the co-creator of The Fever Dream Journal.

When Ruby was a teenager she used to buy sheets of edible rice paper and insert them into books in the Oxford Waterstones. She would return later, rip the 'pages' out and proceed to eat them in store... to see if anyone stopped her.

They never did.

This says a lot about who she is as a person.
